About Alpha Acoustics

Alpha Acoustics is a recently established noise consultancy, dedicated to helping clients achieve their goals and providing a quality of service which is second to none.

The Principal, Adrian Ray, has 24 years experience in acoustics. Adrian worked initially in the oil industry as a seismic geophysicist, applying underwater acoustics in the search for new oil and gas resources.

From the late 1980’s Adrian managed a local Council’s pollution control team. It was here that a wide experience of environmental noise assessment and control was developed. This focussed on the assessment and control of environmental noise through the Planning process, and the investigation and remedy of noise in the residential environment.

After a short period within a large consultancy, Alpha Acoustics was established in the summer of 2006.
